Opening a new shuttle

If you don’t already have a shuttle, you will have to open one in order to borrow $USC. Here is a simple guide to help you understand the process.

  1. Input the amount of collateral you want to deposit from your wallet

  1. Input the amount of $USC you want to borrow

Note: The maximum amount you can borrow up is capped by the minimum collateral ratioarrow-up-right

Collateral ratio = collateral (in USD) / debt (in USD)

  1. Once ready, click on “Borrow $USC”

Note: Remember to check the details in the “Position Summary” carefully before signing the transaction in your wallet.

The total debt owed is broken down into 3 segments:

  1. $USC received in wallet: the amount that is sent to your wallet

  2. Borrowing feearrow-up-right: a variable fee incurred every time you mint new $USC

  3. Liquidation Reserve: a 20 $USC deposit that is reserved in event of liquidations only
